Peer-to-Peer Webinar
December 12, 2013

On October 1st, 2013, open enrollment into the new health insurance marketplaces under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) began, signaling one of the biggest changes in decades to our health care system. The new marketplaces are projected to increase the quality, availability, and affordability of private and public health insurance to 44 million uninsured individuals in the U.S. Community health centers (CHCs) play a significant role in ensuring that underserved populations are not being left out. To do this, many CHCs received additional funding to outreach to, educate, and enroll their priority populations in public and private healthinsurance options.
