Structural Competency: Identifying and Addressing the Upstream Causes of Diabetes and COVID-19

This 90-minute training aims to provide health centers and other community-based organizations with an overview of the structural factors of health disparities with a focus on diabetes and COVID-19. Using the Structural Competency Framework, Health Outreach Partners will analyze and understand the root causes of diabetes and COVID-19 inequities and review concrete strategies that health centers can implement to address health disparities.
