Why Intern at HOP

For interns looking to gain hands-on experience in advancing health equity, HOP offers the opportunity to work alongside passionate, mission-driven leaders. Interns develop professional competencies, build practical skills, and make a real impact in underserved communities in a supportive and collaborative environment.nities.

“I liked being able to get a big-picture look at the operations of a non-profit. I hadn’t had much exposure to business, but I had a chance to see a little of everything. I learned to understand enough to explain to others. Gratifying to do tangible work- for the good of the organization. Favorite project: writing the fundraising emails. There was a creative component that was awesome.”

– Z.R.
“I liked the creativity that was given to me to start a project, make it my own, and create a step-by-step process that the organization would use.”

– L.B.
