Training Webinar
May 28, 2015

Clinical outreach seeks to enhance access to care for underserved communities by bringing health services directly to those that need them the most. Health Outreach Partners (HOP) defines clinical outreach as the provision of clinical services in an outreach setting. This webinar was an overview of the different types of clinical outreach models and the benefits on the populations you serve as well as your own organization.

It drew upon the information presented in HOP’s latest Outreach Reference Manual chapter on Clinical Outreach (coming soon). Also, two panelists joined the webinar to present their experiences and impressions from their successful clinical outreach programs:

  • Dr. Marcia Pugh, Healthcare on Wheels & Tombigbee Healthcare Authority | Demopolis, AL
  • Beverly Sirvent, Finger Lakes Community Health | Geneva, NY
